Lunch & Speakers

The Luncheon and Speaker series is held the fourth Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the Alamo Women's Clubhouse.

Our September speaker, Julia Flynn Siler, is a journalist and non-fiction author. Her latest book, "The White Devil's Daughters: The Women Who fought Slavery in San Francisco's Chinatown" is a narrative history of the trafficking of Asian girls and women that flourished in the West during the first hundred years of Chinese immigration.  Join Julia as she recounts a shocking episode from America's past.
