Due to the current outbreak of COVID, the Executive Board made a decision to convert to ZOOM for the upcoming January 26th luncheon. This decision was made out of an abundance of caution for the health and well-being of our members and the speakers.

The January luncheon speakers will be Wally De Young and Mike Brady of the Mount Diablo Interpretive Association (MDIA). This presentation will partner with the Walkie Talkies hike in April led by Wally. MDIA is a non-profit, volunteer organization that assists in maintaining and interpreting the park for its 700,000 visitors each year. We will learn about MDIA's role at Mount Diablo State Park, the new Mitchell Canyon Visitor Center located in Clayton, and the plight of the Peregrine Falcon.
